About Lee
“ I was brought up to believe men don’t talk about their struggles we just get on with being whoever we’re needed to be and show up in that version”
-
I was one of the people. I lost my way in life ignoring my feelings, believing my negative thoughts and being held hostage by my past. There were so many times I could have reach out but I choose not to, I was brought up to believe men don’t talk about their struggles we just get on with being whoever we needed to be and show up in that version.
For years I felt trapped in a version of myself I didn’t recognise and I couldn’t find a way out. Work was a good place to hide, I used alcohol to forget and drugs to escape the pain, anger and loneliness I felt inside.
Constant feelings of anxiety or lack of motivation, feeling worthless or comparing myself negatively to others became triggers that contributed to how low and miserable I was already feeling. Suffering felt familiar, and not being here anymore was constantly on my mind.
I tried to take my own life twice, but didn’t tell anyone until after I had a mental breakdown because I was ashamed and embarrassed to talk about it or ask for help. I was good at pretended I was fine.
I got help through therapy and counselling to talk through my issues, I had to start giving myself what I needed and making me a priority. I had to hold myself accountable, get my life together and sort my shit out.
Giving up alcohol and drugs were huge life changing achievements, I’m better equipped to deal with the pressures of life, my mental health is a priority and a great indicator to how I’m looking after myself.
When I started talking my life started changing. I was able to understand what I wanted, how I felt, what I needed, who I was and who I wanted to become. It was hard at first, I couldn’t do it all on my own I needed help challenging the beliefs and behaviours holding me back from becoming a better version of myself.
Opening up and talking has helped me achieve things personally and professionally that I’m very proud of. I have my own life coaching practice, moved to a new country and live a good life. I still mess up, I still get things wrong, I have down days, I struggle with life and get frustrated.
I have a different perspective on life, I’ve gone from trying to end my own life to becoming mentally, emotionally and physically resilient to deal with life’s challenges.

The Mission
The mission is to help you achieve more than you limit yourself to believe, to break the learned cycles of behaviour preventing you from becoming the person you know is inside.
My aim is to help you identify what's holding you back, explore unhealthy habits and behaviours, provide you with honest and open feedback to show you what your able to achieve with me supporting you.
We'll develop your self-awareness, implement healthy boundaries and daily practices to quieten the internal negative chatter and find a focus for you to work towards.
I know the first step is hard and how important it is to connect with someone who sees, hears and validates who you are and how you see yourself.
TIME TO CHANGE COACHING PROGRAMME
Change requires consistency, a commitment to yourself and the right support to help you let go and grow into a better version of you.
-
Before making any kind of change it helps to seek guidance from someone who’s been where you are and is where you want to be. They can help you identify your strengths and weaknesses and provide a different perspective, encouragement and bounce ideas off them.
-
Its easy to give up at the first setback, we’ve all done it. Having someone hold you accountable for your actions and commitments will motivate you to stay on track with your goals. Support from someone who understands will help to identify areas that require more of your attention and prevent procrastination and complacency.
